Redesigning workflows in the heavy industry sector
Designed using Figma, Created in Microsoft Power AppsDuring my final internship at a large heavy industry corporation, I redesigned workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. This was done by digitizing and streamlining existing workflows.
I designed the application in a way that accounted for user requirements and needs by frequently have contact with stakeholders. This resulted in multiple iterations based on usability testing with users.
I started out with wireframes based on predicament requirements. After that, I gathered user input by having interviews. This resulted in the first design iteration.
After that, I gathered feedback from stakeholders and tested the designs with users using Usability testing. This resulted in the second design iteration.
The end result fit both technical and user requirements and was able to be directly implemented into the user workflow.
